Cox Launches MyPrimetime(SM) On DEMAND in Greater Louisiana Market

MyPrimetime now available in eight Cox markets

ATLANTA, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications announced today that digital cable customers in its Greater Louisiana operation, including the cities of Baton Rouge and Acadiana, now have On DEMAND access to hits from ABC, NBC, Cartoon Network, FX, TBS and TNT with the addition of the MyPrimetime(SM) category in the On DEMAND menu. Episodes of top primetime series will be available anytime, free of charge to Cox Digital Cable customers, starting the day after they air on the network. This latest launch brings the number of Cox markets offering the service to eight including: Orange County, Calif.; New England; Kansas/Arkansas; Arizona; Macon, Ga.; Roanoke, Va.; Tulsa, Okla. and Greater Louisiana. Additional Cox markets will launch the service imminently.

With MyPrimetime, Cox Digital Cable customers will have On DEMAND access to new episodes of ABC hits including Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Lost and Ugly Betty; NBC favorites including Heroes, Kath & Kim, and Life; FX's critically acclaimed Damages and Nip Tuck; TBS's 10 Items or Less and Meet the Browns; TNT's new hit Leverage, and more. Episodes are available On DEMAND the day after the program's broadcast premiere and will be available for up to 28 days. Additional shows are expected to become available in the future.

With On DEMAND, Cox Digital Cable customers have access to a library of more than 6000 hours of movies and shows, including high-definition content and exclusive programming, all via the digital receiver. The majority of On DEMAND programming is free and all available with the touch of a button. Customers can watch what they want, when they want by tuning to the On DEMAND menu on Channel 1.
