ATLANTA – The promotion of Jill Nickel Broome to Executive Director of Corporate Regulatory – Operations for Cox Communications Inc. was announced today by Jennifer Hightower, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs.
In her new role, Broome will lead a team that focuses on regulatory operational issues related to Cox's voice products (inclusive of wireline, wireless and broadband), such as interconnection agreement negotiation and arbitration, assistance with carrier dispute resolution, regulatory assistance with product development life cycle management issues and coordination with Cox's policy development.
In making this announcement, Hightower said, "Since joining Cox, Jill has developed into an excellent problem solver. Her knowledge of state and federal regulatory issues is vital to helping Cox achieve its network and strategic objectives. She is a valuable member of our regulatory team."
Broome joined Cox in 1997 as Director of Regulatory Affairs. Prior to joining Cox, she served as the Director of Regulatory Affairs for Time Warner Communications. Previously, she served as a telecom bureau chief at the Florida Public Service Commission.
A graduate of Florida State University, Broome holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics.
