ATLANTA- Cox Communications announced today the addition of hundreds of hours of new On DEMAND content to its library, bringing available hours to more than 1400, with over 400 hours of free content. Cox added content from Showtime, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, CNET, Havoc Television, Union and Studio 4 Networks. On DEMAND is available to digital cable customers in: Orange County and San Diego, Calif; Omaha, Neb.; New Orleans; New England; Hampton Roads, Roanoke and Northern Virginia; Las Vegas and Oklahoma City.

Union On Demand brings content from the leading producers in the action sports industry. Films featuring top athletes such as Kelly Slater, the Irons Brothers, Mark Occhilupo, Damien Hobgood, Taj Burrow and many others are now available on Union On Demand. Union on Demand movies are available for $3.95 each.
The following content will be available in Cox FreeZone at no additional charge to Cox Digital Cable subscribers.
Cartoon Network on Demand titles include popular series like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Ed, Edd n Eddy, DragonBall Z, Peppa Pig and Transformers Cybertron. Action, Comedy and Tickle U categories offer a wide variety of content for various age levels.
Adult Swim on Demand includes shorter- and longer-form content to satisfy animated comedy and action lovers, including Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Robot Chicken, Ghost in the Shell and Paranoia Agent.
CNET TV On Demand will provide viewers buying advice and how-to segments that help them make the right choice and get the most out of technology products including consumer electronics, computers and software. Content will include video from popular CNET TV franchises such as Insider Secrets, Weekend Project and First Look from the Labs, as well as coverage of special events such as the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and regularly scheduled programming.
Havoc Television is dedicated to independent and underground music, action sports and related lifestyle content. The library of music content consists of thousands of the hottest indie artists, DJs, and bands; and hundreds of the most respected indie record labels, producers and promoters.
Studio 4 Networks provides trusted, high quality educational, childhood developmental, parenting and fitness programming for the entire family.
"Our On DEMAND platform allows us to bring niche programming to our customers that they would have no access to anywhere else," added Pugliese. "The content from Havoc, Union and Studio 4 Networks is available exclusively via the On DEMAND platform. It is not available on any other linear channel."
Cox On DEMAND offers more than 1400 hours of entertainment including hit movies and free programming from some of cables most popular networks. With On DEMAND, customers can control programming using full DVD-like functionality including pause, fast forward and rewind. Customers will have the luxury of choosing and watching a program of their choice at their convenience.
