ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 2005--Cox Communications Inc. today announced that it will bring Cox Digital Telephone service to five new markets in 2005, bringing the total markets served to 22 or 70 percent of Cox's total footprint by year-end. Based on the great success Cox has already experienced with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology in five of its existing telephone markets, the company will continue to use VoIP technology for all 2005 deployments.
