Nicole Buie Named Vice President of Marketing and Sales Services for Cox Media

ATLANTA - Cox Media, the advertising services division of Cox Communications, Inc., announced today that it has appointed Nicole Buie to the newly created position of vice president, marketing and sales services. Buie will oversee the marketing, research and product management teams responsible for promoting and creating sales alignment with Cox Media's broad portfolio of integrated and accountable advertising solutions.

“Nicole’s diverse background of operations, strategy and business development gives her the unique ability to effectively focus on both internal and external client needs,” said Billy Farina, senior vice president of Cox Media. “She is a critical asset to help us drive new growth in the advertising sector.”

 

Prior to her new position, Buie served as vice president of operations for Cox Media, where she led significant standardization and centralization initiatives that have optimized the back office client support functions within the business. In addition to her senior operational leadership, Buie's 15-year tenure at Cox has included research and business development roles at Cox Media and customer service and sales at Cox Radio.

 

Buie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Florida and a MBA from Georgia State University. In 2008, she was included in the “Top 25 Atlantans to Watch” by Atlanta Business Magazine

 

In her spare time, Buie enjoys photography and travel with her husband, Brad, and two children, Kaitlyn and Will.
