Alan Greene Named Executive Director of Strategy for Cox Communications

ATLANTA – The appointment of Alan Greene to Executive Director of Strategy for Cox Communications was announced today by Mimi Thigpen, Senior Vice President of Strategy.

In his new role, Greene will be responsible for facilitating the strategic planning process and conducting strategic assessments in support of Cox's portfolio of products and services. He also will lead the portfolio management process as well as the program management office for strategic initiatives.

In making the announcement, Thigpen said, "Alan comes to Cox with a distinguished resume of accomplishments in developing and implementing successful strategies in a large consumer product organization. His ability to work with multiple departments under tight deadlines and continuously changing market conditions will be a valuable addition to our team."

Prior to joining Cox, Greene served in several positions of increasing responsibility for The Coca-Cola Company, most recently as Director of Strategy and Initiatives. Previously he served as a Financial Analyst for Delta Air Lines.

Greene holds a bachelor's degree in Business from Wake Forest University and earned a master's degree in Business Administration from Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
