Cox Business Hosts Free Webcast on Cybersecurity for Small Business
"Solutions for Small Business" webcast series part of cable industry program to provide online resources for business owners

 

ATLANTAIn recognition of National Cybersecurity Month, Cox Business is offering a free cybersecurity strategy webcast for small business executives on October 28.

 

The webcast is the fourth in the Solutions for Small Business (SFSB) series that offers direct access to leading experts, who provide advice on topics critical to helping small businesses thrive, such as boosting productivity and protecting customer data. The first three webcasts focused on marketing, accessing capital and using web tools. SFSB is a collaborative program supported by Bloomberg Television®, Cisco and 13 other cable companies.

Hosted by Bloomberg Television anchor Monica Bertran, the upcoming “Protect Your Business with Effective Cybersecurity Strategies” is scheduled on October 28 at 2:00 pm ET, y will feature three speakers: Larry Godfrey, from Heartland Payment Systems; Rich Kissel from the National Institute of Standards & Technology; and John Marshall, small business owner of Main Street Fine Foods. The speakers will discuss how small businesses can develop security policies to avoid disruptions to service and protect sensitive data.

This interactive, live video webcast, enabled by Cisco's WebEx and TelePresence® collaboration solutions, will give participants the opportunity to present questions to Bertran and her guests in a live discussion.
