Cox to Bring Unbelievably Fair Wireless Plans to Oklahoma

ATLANTA, Feb. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox's "Unbelievably Fair" advertising campaign will begin this week in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The debut of this campaign officially signals Oklahoma as Cox's next market to receive wireless service. To date, the company's wireless service is currently available in Hampton Roads, Va., Omaha, Neb. and Orange County, Calif.

"Cox's Unbelievably Fair wireless service is striking a positive chord with customers in our initial wireless markets," said Stephen Bye, Cox's vice president of wireless. "And now we will continue to bring our successful wireless model to additional Cox markets, beginning with Oklahoma."

With the addition of wireless, Cox will continue to change the way it serves its customers. Beginning last year, Cox opened new Solutions Stores across Oklahoma to provide a personal, interactive and one-stop shopping retail experience for all communications and entertainment services. Coming soon, the company will unveil "Mobile Solutions" as the centerpiece of its Oklahoma stores, featuring Cox's wireless products and services and highlighting the integration of Cox services.

Introducing higher value alternative telecommunications services to the marketplace is a tradition at Cox. In 1997, Cox was the first cable company to begin offering traditional landline telephone services. In 1993, Cox began serving commercial customers with business-class voice and data solutions. Thanks to its pioneering spirit, Cox's residential and commercial customers were among the first in the nation to enjoy a competitive choice among providers.

"Our customers want Cox Wireless and we are committed to rapidly launching additional wireless markets," said Bye. As such, the company will continue to leverage its successful wholesale relationship to launch 3G wireless services in Oklahoma, providing speed to market to deliver Unbelievably Fair wireless to its customers.

Consumers in Oklahoma can register at www.unbelievablyfair.com to be among the first to learn about the plans, devices and offers that will launch in Oklahoma and also receive a free video reward for registering at the site.
