Cox Names Janice Roberts Vice President of Customer Field Services (In home/In business)

ATLANTA--Cox announced today that it has appointed Janice Roberts as vice president of customer field services (In home/In business). Roberts will be responsible for managing and integrating the customer experience of delivering products and services that support customers in their homes or business. In addition, Roberts will lead strategic initiatives targeted at redefining the installation and service loyalty, and generate operational efficiencies. 

Roberts was formerly at BellSouth where she had a 15 year career beginning as a senior engineer responsible for strategic planning and leading day-to-day operations of network planning. Subsequent to her engineering role, she led the customer network management operations for BellSouth Business Systems and was responsible for managing multiple provisioning and maintenance operations centers. 

 

Her most recent experience was as a partner and North America network practice lead at Accenture working within their Communications & High Technology vertical. Her extensive background includes Operational Effectiveness, Field Operations Management, Service Delivery and Strategic planning focused on helping clients transition to an IP-based world while building and sustaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.

In making the announcement, Cox's Senior Vice President of Customer Operations, Kimberly Edmunds said, "Janice's extensive background in service delivery and strategic planning will be an integral part in creating a seamless Cox experience while we are in the homes and businesses of our customers. I look forward to her leadership and experience in taking our field services organization to the next level."

Roberts received a B.S. in civil engineering from Clemson University and holds an MBA in marketing from Kennesaw State University.
