Cox Communications Adds Pac-12 Networks to Lineup

Atlanta, GA August 15, 2012 Cox Communications has announced the addition of the Pac-12 Networks to its lineups in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Kansas, Nebraska and Nevada. The Pac-12 Networks, which include one national and six regional networks, are full-time HD linear networks dedicated to the Pac-12 collegiate conference.

The Pac-12 Networks will televise 850 live sporting events annually, including 35 football games, and more than 120 men’s basketball games in the first year, as well as a variety of in-studio shows, special features, commentary and On Demand content on the Pac-12’s championship teams and student-athletes.

 

The Pac-12 Southern California Regional Network will be available on Cox’s Digital Essential service in Orange County and Palos Verdes, CA. In San Diego and Santa Barbara, the Pac-12 Southern California Regional Network will be carried in Cox’s Sports & Information pak.

 

The Pac-12 Arizona Network will be on Cox’s Digital Essential service in Arizona. Finally, the Pac-12 National Network will be on Cox’s Sports & Information pak for customers in Cox’s Arkansas; Sun Valley, Idaho; Kansas; Omaha, Nebraska and Las Vegas, Nevada service areas.

 

Cox Advanced TV customers in these areas also will have online access to live events that are not covered on the Pac-12 Television Networks via the Pac-12 Digital Streaming Network.
