ATLANTA – The promotion of Leigh Stokes to Executive Director of Online Experience for Cox Communications was announced today by Steve Gorman, Vice President of Online Strategy and Interactive Media.
In her new role, Stokes will be responsible for the continual improvement of online interactions and experiences within Cox's comprehensive portfolio of web properties. She will partner with Cox's product teams and other departments to deliver an innovative online experience and implement new applications to service Cox customers more efficiently.
In making the announcement, Gorman said, "Leigh has been instrumental in establishing a clear direction for our websites. Her thought-leadership and tenure in the web arena combined with the needs of our business make her the ideal candidate to help us create the best possible customer experience for our online properties."
Stokes joined Cox in 1996 as a Manager of Internal Systems for Cox Interactive Media. She transitioned to Cox Communications in 2002 as Manager of Content and Site Operations for cox.net web sites and began overseeing cox.com in 2004. Most recently, she served as Director of Web Strategy.
A graduate of Georgia State University, Stokes holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing and a master's degree in Business Administration.
