ATLANTA, April 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications announced today that its Cox TV Connect app will now support Amazon's Kindle Fire®, Google's Nexus® and Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 and Note tablets. With access to over 90 national cable channels, customers can download the free app on their device. "Tablets have really changed the game in terms of the way people view television," said Len Barlik, executive vice president of product management and development. "Our customers want more than the traditional living room experience. We continue to evolve our products to meet customers' changing needs, connecting them to the things they care about in ways that are easy to use and reliable."
Introduced in December 2011, the Cox TV Connect app for iPad and iPhone has been downloaded more than 500,000 times.
