Courtney Wood Promoted to Director of Acquisition Marketing Campaigns for Cox Communications

ATLANTA – The promotion of Courtney Wood to Director of Acquisition Marketing Campaigns for Cox Communications Inc. was announced today by Tony Maldonado, Vice President of Acquisition and Marketing Sciences.

In her new role, Wood will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing management of corporate acquisition campaigns launched in Atlanta. Wood and her team will continue to focus on customer acquisitions and direct response campaigns for both residential and commercial markets.

In making the announcement, Maldonado said, "Courtney has played an instrumental role, specifically in creating Cox's direct response advertising campaigns. She has been an integral part of the strategic development and creative production for corporate acquisitions."

Wood joined Cox in 2002 as a Manager of Retail and Affiliate Marketing. Most recently, she served as Cox's Manager of Marketing Communications Strategy. Prior to joining Cox, she served as a Senior Manager of Creative Services for Cingular Wireless.

Wood received a bachelor's degree in Business and Communications from the University of Central Florida, and she received a master's from Mercer University in Atlanta, Ga.
