Paul Farley Promoted to Director Of Network Intelligence and Security Engineering for Cox Communications

ATLANTA – The promotion of Paul Farley to Director of Network Intelligence and Security Engineering for Cox Communications Inc. was announced today by Randy Kinsey, Executive Director of Network Architecture.

Farley will oversee the development and implementation of secure designs and solutions for current and future Cox products. He also will be responsible for enhancing day-to-day network operations and security through data collection, analysis and incident response.

In making this announcement, Kinsey said, "Paul has continuously demonstrated the ability to understand and respond to complex network security situations across multiple product lines. His ability to lead cross-functional teams created to address various security issues has been a valuable part of our efforts to maintain our state-of-the-art network. I am pleased to recognize him with this promotion."

Farley joined Cox in 2004 as a Security Engineer and most recently served as a Product Development Security Engineer. Prior to joining Cox he owned and operated EventLevel Inc., an information security and systems management company.

A graduate of the University of South Florida, Farley holds a bachelor's degree in Finance.
