ATLANTA – The promotion of Randy Kinsey to Executive Director of Network Architecture for Cox Communications Inc. was announced today by Jay Rolls, Vice President of Technology Development and Engineering.
Kinsey will be responsible for overseeing design of IP Network transport and security for Cox's Internet, voice, wireless and video products. He also will be responsible for preparing the network to deliver new and advanced services for each product line.
In making this announcement, Rolls said, "I'm pleased to recognize Randy's accomplishments and am grateful for all the contributions he has made at Cox. He has demonstrated strong technology leadership, manages a diverse product lineup and has a track record of embracing innovation. He is truly a valuable member of our team."
Kinsey joined Cox in 1999 as Manager of High-Speed Data for the company's Las Vegas operation. Prior to joining Cox, he served in the United States Air Force for 14 years supporting telecommunications for the F117 Stealth Fighter Team based in Nevada.
A graduate of Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska, Kinsey holds a bachelor's degree in Internet Software Systems.
