Cox Communications Launches On DEMAND In Florida Markets
Popularity for On DEMAND Surges to More Than 1 Million Monthly Users

ATLANTA - Cox Communications announced today that On DEMAND service is now available in its Gainesville/Ocala and Pensacola/Fort Walton, Florida markets. In addition, consumer demand for instant access to Cox's vast library of programs continues to grow, with more than 1 million Cox customers using On DEMAND at least monthly.

On DEMAND offers Cox Digital Cable subscribers a library of movies, network shows and music videos to view anytime they wish, with many programs available at no charge. Cox also offers premium On Demand content to subscribers of HBO, Starz, Showtime and Cinemax and is rolling out high-definition movies in select markets.

On DEMAND from Cox is currently available in Greater Louisiana; Cleveland; Roanoke, Hampton Roads and Northern Virginia.; Kansas; Las Vegas; New England; Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Okla.; San Diego and Orange County, Calif.; Omaha, Neb. and Gulf Coast and Central Florida.
